I have had this decor picture sitting on my desktop for awhile now. Today I found myself doing some online shopping and lo and behold what do I find? An adorable dress and Madewell tote to match. I've been an avid lover of the black and white stripe for years now and am glad to see it getting some real attention this year.
Happy Monday, peeps!

Ben v. Noel
Special thanks to my dear co-worker, Leah Vee, for pointing me in the direction of this design gem. Not only is Keri Russell one of my all-time favorite girl crushes, but she happens to have amazing taste. Keri, alongside her carpenter husband and muffin son, took their 1800's Brooklyn brownstone from old to amazing.
My personal favorite elements are the neutral tones mixed with rustic elegance. From the tufted ottoman to the wooden kitchen, Felicity has done it again. It seems as though I only thought I had grown out of my adoration. But don't worry y'all, I'm not going to go all 2nd season and scalp my hair.
And for old time's sake -

"What ever happened to predictability?"
An ode to San Fran...
Oh how I love your pastel buildings stacked on top of one another lined by palm trees on your curvy streets. Your food and wine are delicious, the people are nice, the breeze is refreshing and your sun is intoxicating. The surrounding cities (Berkeley, Sausalito and Napa) were just as wonderful and I'm glad I got to experience them. If someone asked me what my favorite thing was I would be hard-pressed to pick just one. From the Farmer's Market to Napa to City touring, it was the perfect getaway. Cheers to our amazing tour guide and selfless companion, she made it more memorable than anyone else could.
I can't wait to luck into another cheap flight and go back.
I really tried to narrow the pictures (& videos!) and this is what I came up with. I wouldn't blame you for finishing mid-post.

Care for a smoke?
I have so much to say about San Francisco but before I do, I leave you with this gem. You know, just your average family photo* with candy cigarettes after our Mother's Day lunch.
*Note: Pa's behind-the-ear ciggy.

Keeping up my blogging streak
A few things...
1. Yessir. Headed to San Fran this week, which technically turns this Tuesday workday into my Thursday and that makes me hyped.

Feliz Weekend
Happy Friday! I took a long lunch break and wanted nothing more than to sit outside with a good book and soak up the sun. Days like this are addicting.
Last night was a great time at the Glenwick casa. Our pinata was a big fat bust thanks to some faulty twine and our poor knot skills. However, I've never seen guacamole disappear so quickly in all of my days which equals success in my book. I think dinner gathering better sums up our evening which is just fine by me. Dishes finished by 9:30 and ninos in bed by 10 - don't mind if I do.
